Frequently Asked Questions on Shipping
The shipping charge depends on the weight and size of your order, the shipping method, and your distance from San Angelo, Texas. UPS shipping charges are calculated in real time with UPS' web site, using actual weight of items, shipping distance from San Angelo, Texas, and the published UPS rates. A nominal charge is added for the packaging materials ($0.25-$3 depending on package size), labor and handling ($1-5 per order), and insurance ($1-5 per order).
You can find the shipping charge online before entering your credit card information and sending your final order. You can compare the shipping charge by changing the ordered item(s) in the shopping basket, the shipping method, and the destination.
Shipping cost goes up almost exponentially in the sequence of UPS Ground, 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air.
Yes, we do. However, only UPS 2nd, UPS Next-Day Air, FedEx 2nd or NextDay Air (currently not shipping options), and USPS deliver to Hawaii, Alaska and other non-continental US addresses. UPS Ground or FedEx 3Day does NOT deliver to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, or US Virgin Islands.
Please note that our online shipping calculator may underestimate the shipping charge to these addresses. When they do, we may adjust the shipping manually after receiving the order.
Yes, we do. However, only UPS 2nd, UPS Next-Day Air, FedEx Air, and USPS deliver to Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, and other non-continental US addresses. UPS Ground does NOT deliver to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, or US Virgin Islands. Do not choose UPS Ground or FedEx 3 Day as your shipping method.
Please note that our online shipping calculator may underestimate the shipping charge to these addresses. When they do, we may adjust the shipping manually after receiving the order.
Yes, we do. We ship to APO and FPO addresses using US Postal Services (USPS). Please choose the "USPS for A/FPO addresses" shipping method.
Yes we do, but only via UPS Standard to Canada, or Fedex Economy to Canada. Please note that our online shipping calculator may sometimes incorrectly estimate the shipping charge to these addresses. When they do, we may adjust the shipping manually after receiving the order.
Yes, we do. However, we do NOT accept credit card payment from international addresses with the exception of Canadian ones. Payment including the order amount and shipping must be made in US dollars by cashier's check, money order, or direct wiring before shipping. Customers are responsible for any customs duties or tariffs.
Our web site does not calculate international shipping costs automatically. The shipping cost is often prohibitively high for international orders. You may e-mail us so that we can send you an estimate of the shipping cost for the items you are interested in.
Several reasons could cause $0 shipping charge to happen. First, a wrong shipping method may be chosen. For instance, UPS Ground may be chosen for an Alaska (AK) or Hawaii (HI) address. Second, the total weight for the order may exceed 100 Lb. Third, an "unrecognized" zip code or State may be entered in the shipping address.
In such situations, we will manually adjust the shipping cost. We normally will call you to verify the shipping cost before shipping.
A majority of our customers think our shipping and handling charges are reasonable. Most complaints come from orders smaller than $50, which makes the shipping charge to appear high as a percentage of the total order. The shipping charge as a percentage of the total order goes down significantly with increased order amount and quantity. For instance, shipping one keyboard may cost $10, however shipping four keyboards may cost only $20 ($5 per keyboard).
Our web site sometimes returns wrong shipping charges. If you question the shipping charge, please leave a message on the comment section. We'll make adjustment according to the exact situation.
No, we are a webpage only supplier.
The cheapest way to ship is normally UPS Ground. However, UPS Ground is not friendly to packages and does not ship to PO Boxes and non-continental US addresses.

You may also compare shipping cost by changing the quantity of your items in your shopping basket.
Most orders placed before 2pm CST during business days are shipped on the same day for orders that are paid with credit card without any complications. Orders placed after 2pm and during non-business hours such as evenings, weekends, and holidays are normally processed and shipped on the next business day. We may try to get orders with air shipment placed after 2pm CST during business days out on the same day, but there is no guarantee.
Some exceptions apply to the above statements. Exceptions are expensive consumer items, items that are specifically designated as "Normally shipped in 1-3 business days" in the item descriptions and drop shipped items. Payment complications include: different shipping and billing addresses, billing information inconsistent with what's on the credit card record, and orders that can't be verified by phone.
For UPS shipping methods, you'll receive an email confirmation with package quantity, weights, and estimated delivery time at the evening hours after your package is shipped. Make sure that you enter a correct e-mail address on your order form.
For FedEx shipments, a tracking number is sent to your e-mail address instantaneously after your order is shipped. Please note that receiving this e-mail notification may be earlier than when your package has been actually picked up by the FedEx driver.
For USPS shipments, a confirmation e-mail with tracking number will be sent to you either in the evening hours after the package is shipped or in the next business day morning. Another e-mail will be sent to you when a package has been delivered, so that you'd be informed if someone else accepted your package. The tracking feature with USPS is very limited. It does not tell you the location of a package during transit.
Check Estimated UPS Ground delivery time in the US to help you choose a shipping method. From that estimate, you can tell:
Texas residents: It usually takes only one business day (excluding Saturday) for UPS to deliver UPS Ground packages to most Texas locations from Houston, with the exception of the panhandle area where it may take two days. Therefore, UPS Ground is sufficient for most Texas locations and it is not necessary to ship items with UPS Next Day Air, Two Day Air or Three Day Select services. You may save a significant amount of the shipping cost. UPS does not guarantee UPS Ground delivery date. Nevertheless, we found that the one-day delivery by UPS Ground shipping was reasonably reliable to most Texas locations.
For residents in neighboring states such as Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and New Mexico: it usually takes UPS Ground only two business days (excluding Saturday) to deliver to those locations. Use your judgment if you want to take a chance and save shipping cost with UPS Ground or pay a little more with UPS 3-Day select that has a guaranteed 3-day delivery.
UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, and 3Day Select are normally delivered in one, two, and three days after shipping, respectively. However, UPS does NOT guarantee air delivery to residential addresses. Delay may occur due to the amount time it takes to ship systems, hard-to-find items, and drop-shipped items, and to process orders that have complications in payment.
Weekend and holidays are not counted in the UPS estimated delivery time. For instance, if you ship a package on Friday with Next-Day Air shipping method, the normal delivery time is Monday. UPS does not deliver on Saturdays or Holidays. Saturday delivery is available from UPS but is very expensive and must be shipped together with Next Day Air.
UPS: We have made it very easy for you to check the status of your order and track your shipment during transit with UPS. When you place your order, you are given an Order Number. Your purchase order and order number will be confirmed with an e-mail. A Shipping Confirmation email will be sent to you near mid-night on the date your package is shipped.
Fed Ex: You may now track a FedEx shipment using a FedEx tracking number and then track your package at FedEx's web site. We are working with FedEx to e-mail shipping confirmation with tracking numbers automatically
US Postal Services: Online tracking is currently not available to locate USPS packages during transit. However, you may track the delivery confirmation of Express Mail , Priority Mail Global Guaranteed, domestic Priority Mail, and Parcel Post except those shipments to APO/FPO addresses. We'll send you a tracking number (Receipt Number) after a package is shipped. You may then use the tracking number to track your package delivery at USPS' web site. We are working with USPS to bring online tracking with our order number in the future.
UPS charges residential deliveries more than commercial ones for their Ground shipping (typically $1 or $2 more). They do this because in average it takes longer for a residential delivery than a commercial one. If your address is a residential one, please choose UPS Ground Residential.
